I Was Sick & Tired of Being Sick & Tired

I remember feeling so incredibly tired and at an all-time low in my life. Depression had kicked in and the years of living in chronic pain had gotten the best of me. It was all consuming. Over time I started making small choices, but very poor ones......drinking a little more, eating more chocolate, an extra biscuit, exercising less. The compound effect of those choices caught up with me and I didn't realize the impact that was having on me both physically and emotionally. I actually started with my Coach a year before, but was not in the right head space and really couldn't commit. I wasn't ready.....YET. By the time I was ready I was absolutely desperate. I needed energy, I had absolutely none. I wasn't sleeping well and was dozing on the couch all day. I was exhausted just checking the mail. My children were missing out, I was a terrible role model, and was barely able to take care of myself let alone take care of them. I needed a miracle.

Does that sound familiar? Maybe you have tried and weren't ready. Maybe you are tired of feeling exhausted, bloated, having headaches and not sleeping. maybe you're emotional all the time and can't seem to get out of your funk. I get it because that was me. 8 years ago I was all that and more. I had digestive issues, aching joints, poor skin, swollen face, chicken skin arms and was just so not happy with what was happening with my body health wise.

3 days after starting my nutrition program I felt like I had woken up from a deep slumber, I had energy! I was able to start taking short walks, I felt better, I slept better and that made me happier and a nicer person to be around. I was less depressed. After a few weeks I was losing weight and that got me excited, it gave me hope that I had found a solution. Little did I know that it was just the beginning! fast forward 8.5 years and I have lost over 19kg, over 100cm and have gained so much more quality of life. I am healthy and happy and living my absolute best life. I have run 2 road marathons and 3 ultra marathons plus a bunch of half marathons; and have more energy than I ever imagined possible. My relationship with food is so much healthier and I enjoy nourishing and caring for my body every single day.
