3 Simple Steps to Improve Your Health

Are you searching for answers? Tired of dieting and not making any sustainable process and thinking there has got to be an easier way? I don't want to burst your bubble, but I do have to tell you that there is no quick and easy fix. BUT I can show you a few simple steps to help you improve your health that you can start today.

  1. Set a Goal. It has to be a SMART Goal. Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time framed. Let's say your goal is to lose weight - How much weight? 5kg is Specific. It is Measurable because you can measure the weight toss on the scales. Achievable? I think 5kg is Achievable and Realistic, so then we just need a Time frame - working on the average of 500g per week it should then take 10 weeks to achieve this. There is your SMART Goal - Lose 5kg in 10 weeks.

  2. Accountability. Accountability is important because we are not designed to thrive in isolation. Having an accountability buddy or Coach to help keep you on track is a great way to stay focussed during the times it gets hard. A Coach will also help you with a plan and adjust it as needed along the way.

  3. Consistency. This is the part that most people find difficult, people give up too easily when they don't see immediate results. You have to be in it for the long-term benefits; and know that each day you stick to your plan you are making progress, it just might take a while for it to register on the scales or in the way your clothes fit. Being consistent right up until the 10th week is finished (in reality you should keep going beyond that date) is absolutely imperative to you achieving the end goal.

You don't have to do radical diets (in fact I don't recommend diets) or make drastic changes to get results, you just have to make a commitment to yourself and have the right information and support to help you along the way.
